Do you sit in front of the computer a lot?
Does your job require you to spend most of your time in front of the computer?
Chances are you said yes to both questions.
You probably deal with tight shoulders, neck pain, and even get headaches correct?
This is due to gravity pushing down on your shoulders causing them to roll forward and pushing your neck out. As a result, this will force you neck to support more of your head causing you neck and shoulder pain.
In today’s video I’m going to show you three positions to move in to provide you relief to your neck and shoulders and improve the mobility in your thoracic spine.
At Ultimate Performance Training we do this in a three dimensional environment. Our bodies move in the sagittal (forward/backward), frontal (side to side), and transverse (rotational) planes. When we sit for long periods of time, this limits motions in those planes.
This 3D exercise will help you recapture motion in your spine and make your neck and shoulders feel better.
