How is change in relation to your fitness and nutrition?
If you are like most people, it’s one of the hardest things to do!
Change is an uncomfortable process, always.
It gets us to see things about ourselves that sometimes we don’t want to admit and gets us out of our comfort zone.
Recently my wife became a vegetarian.
I have nothing against vegetarian’s but that is not for me, I LOVE MEAT!
Instead of being grumpy about vegetarian food, I decided to give it a shot.
All I would do is just add beef, chicken, or fish on top of my vegetarian meal.
Much to my surprise, this has been some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life!
On top of that, my kids are craving more whole foods vs processed foods.
We had a vegetarian burrito bowl last night (I added chicken to mine) and it was the best recipe my wife has ever made!
Not only that, her inflammation in her shoulder (hurt it from a car accident years ago) has completely gone away!
Had I not embraced this nutritional change, I would never get to experience the healthy benefits that our family has gotten to enjoy!
Change will always be a challenge because it takes you out of your comfort zone.
Your attitude and perspective are key in ensuring these changes last.
