Back a long time ago in 1999 my family took a summer vacation to New York and Boston. We had an amazing experience from going to the baseball hall of fame, basketball hall of fame, statue of liberty, and much more.It was one of the best experiences of my life.
Midway through our trip, we drove from upstate New York back to Manhattan and decided to use the toll roads. When we pulled up my dad tried to pay with cash but didn’t see the sign that the lane was for people who had a toll tag. We had to get our car over to the cash lane which was one lane over but traffic was pretty heavy.
Thankfully, we were in New York where everyone is exceptionally patient, helpful, and kind.<<Pause for giant eye roll>>
The next 5 minutes we were inundated with countless cars honking horns, people screaming and cursing at us for not moving, and a very “helpful” NYPD officer treating us like we were morons for not reading the sign and yelling at us to “learn how to read next time” as he opens up space for us to move.
That beautiful memory has stuck with me to this day, as my wife will attest, anytime I get on the toll road I always check to make sure I’m in the correct lane.
Are you in the correct lane for reaching your health and wellness goals?
Are the steps you are taking each day consistently getting you to where you want to be?
Unlike the “helpful” NYPD officer from our trip, I’d like to help you change lanes so you can reach your health and wellness goals.
