Is your life crazy busy?
Do you feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done?
After work and family are taken care of, do you find that it’s already time for bed?
If so, I can TOTALLY RELATE!
I personally struggle with making enough time for myself.
That is why I’ve made it a point to at least get 30 minutes of sunlight daily.
During the week I’m go, go, go and by the time the weekend hits I don’t want to do anything.
That’s not really a healthy place to be.
So instead I’ve started taking my kids hiking and doing more outdoor things together on the weekends.
This past Saturday, I took Jeremiah hiking at some of my favorite spots in Austin.
We went to Mt. Bonnell, Mayfield Park and Nature Preserve (saw some peacocks), and Great Hills Park.
It did both of us so much good!
Both of our energy levels were increased, our moods were better, and we focused on having fun instead of technology!
The best part was that we made some fun memories together that we will always get to treasure.
If you are like me and struggle with making time for yourself, go into your calendar and block off time daily to go outside, workout, take your dogs for a walk, or just lay out on a blanket in your backyard reading a book.
