This past weekend was my son Jeremiah’s Family Forever Day.
It’s where we celebrate the date when he was adopted into our family.
One thing about Jeremiah I absolutely love is doesn’t care what others think.
We will go grocery shopping and he’ll be dressed as batman talking in the batman voice cracking people up.
He will have the courage to go up to anyone and start a conversation.
I didn’t have that confidence till I was in my 20’s.
Jeremiah is very confident in who he is and I pray he never loses that.
Are you confident in yourself?
Do you feel discouraged when your friends hit a new fitness goal because you currently aren’t at that level yet?
The biggest thing I find when meeting with new clients is that they compare themselves to what they were years ago.
They want that confident, stronger, slimmer person back.
Once they start developing a healthier lifestyle, they still struggle with comparing themselves to who they were.
If you are someone who’s like this, I want to encourage you that you aren’t alone.
Know that this is a new season and challenge in your life.
EMBRACE IT!!!
You have the opportunity to become the strongest version of yourself at this stage of your life!
Most people quit and give up!
The easiest way to not fall into the comparison trap is to be patient, have gratitude, and enjoy the process!
