Do you ever deal with stress?
As you read that sentence, your response would be something like, is water wet:)?
Today I’m going to share with you three strategies you can use to help reduce your stress level.
1.) Workout-most people know that working out is great for stress relief.
However, when we are really stressed it’s hard to be motivated to go for a workout.
Instead of thinking you have to go crush it at the gym, pick an exercise activity that you enjoy and go do that for 30-45 minutes.
I’ve recently gotten into mountain biking.
That’s been huge for stress relief in my life. I put on my ear buds and listen to my favorite podcast as I go for a ride.
2.) Manage Your Time-this is a huge one for so many people (myself included)!
A to-do list will help you focus on your tasks one a time vs getting overwhelmed by everything you have to do.
You’ll get a lot more done and quicker by keeping a list.
3.) Focus on You-if you are married, have kids, and a demanding job, there isn’t a whole lot of time left in the day for yourself.
This is something I’ve found with so many of my busy mom clients.
They do such an amazing job of serving and taking care of others, they forget to take care of themselves.
One thing many of them enjoy doing is taking a relaxing bath.
They get their husbands to put the kids to bed then they go take a relaxing bath while reading a book or sitting in quiet.
Life can be stressful but you don’t have to stay in that situation.
